Angela Day was appointed as the new principal at Barnett Elementary Principal for Nebo School District.
Ms. Day received her bachelor’s degree elementary education and her master’s in Educational Leadership from Brigham Young University (BYU).
Nebo Education Foundation has received donations in memory of Ronald Johnson. Ronald, 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 16, 2011.

Ron Hutton was nominated by Coralee Olson as the Transportation Outstanding Employee for February 2011.
Ron is married to his beautiful wife Andrea. They have two daughters, six and half grand-children, and one great-grandchild. Ron loves his job as a bus driver.
Grisel Posada is an educational technician at Riverview Elementary. Cindy Sumsion, special education teacher, said, "Grisel is a talented and dedicated technician and is irreplaceable! She feeds a student with a feeding tube every day.
Mr. Eric Ferrin, mathematics teacher at Spanish Fork Junior High, was recently honored as Afterschool Club Leader of the Year by Utah County 4-H.
Andrea Pond, Canyon Elementary Educational Technician, was honored with the Crystal Apple Award. She has worked at Canyon for the past five years and is currently supervising the Take Home Library.

Landmark High School is pleased to host the Nebo School District Science Fair on Wednesday and Thursday, February 23 and 24, 2011. The Nebo Science Fair will be held in the gym of Landmark High School located at 612 South Main, Spanish Fork.
Springville Chamber of Commerce holds Awards Banquet and Installation
President Jay Knight welcomed chamber members and guests to the annual awards banquet. He introduced the new board members and officers. The meal was provided by Utah Celebrations Catering.
