Larsen Elementary delighted the Nebo School Board of Education with a snippet from  Alice in Wonderland featuring Alice, played by Jalyssa Friant; the Mushroom, played by McKaylee Scott; and the Caterpillar, played by Erica Nelson. The play was directed by Denise Cope.

On April 21, 2011, Nebo School District held its third quarterly Captains Academy Spring Session on leadership and sportsmanship. The Captain’s Academy is held three times a year.

A highlight for the Nebo School Board of Education is meeting with the students representing all the junior high and high schools on a quarterly basis.

Randy Leetham has been nominated by Monte Larsen as Transportation Outstanding Employee for March, 2011.

Randy has been a special needs bus driver for Nebo School District for one and a half years.

KSL Radio and Zions Bank honored Alisa Morgan, a kindergarten teacher at Art City Elementary School in Springville, for the "Teacher Feature" program this week.

Nebo School District was presented the Innovators in Education Award by Weidenhammer Systems Corporation at their National Annual Users Conference on March 22, 2011.
