Utah’s First Lady Abby Cox hosted a Show Up for Teachers conference on July 12, 2022, to focus on the mental health and well-being of Utah Educators presented by Clark and Christine Ivory Foundation.
One of Nebo School District’s teachers and a Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) advisor at Maple Mountain High, Jessica Knotts, was honored with the 2022 National FCCLA Spirit of Advising Award.
Seth Christmas, an Advanced Learning Center (ALC) student and Maple Mountain High (MMHS) student, won Gold at the SkillsUSA Nationals in Georgia in June 2022.
JoEdan Parker was honored with the Counseling Psychology and Special Education (CPSE) Mentoring award for her mentoring work with Brigham Young University. Ms. Parker mentored student teachers and interns over the past few years.
Nebo is partnering with the Utah Food Bank again this year to provide free summer meals in four of Nebo School District communities. Fresh and free summer meals will be offered every Monday through Friday.
