The State Health and Physical Education Specialist, Jodi Parker, honored our own Nebo teacher, McKenzie Stowell, a teacher at Maple Mountain High, with the Teacher Spotlight for April 2022.

The Utah State Board of Education and the Utah Council of Teachers of Mathematics chose James Clark, mathematics teacher at Diamond Fork Middle School, as the April Secondary Mathematics Teacher Spotlight for 2022.

Congratulations to Nebo’s two teams from Larsen Elementary. Both teams placed at the BYU Underwater Robotics competition held last month at the Lehi Aquatics Center. Five teams of Larsen fifth-graders competed in the competition.

Nebo student athletic leaders and captains from junior high and high schools gathered this week for a Spring Captain’s Academy at the Nebo School District Office.

Spanish Fork Fiesta Days is sponsoring the 2022 Fiesta Day Reading Challenge to all Spanish Fork elementary students. To encourage students to read, Spanish Fork City promotes a Rodeo Reading Challenge. The goal is for students to read more this year than last year.
