Kids Cause started over 18 years ago and continues to make a difference in the lives of children. It began as a way to meet the serious needs of students and now is able to provide emergency dental and vision care, hearing aids, clothing and school supplies.
Parents in Spanish Fork have been notified regarding the current power outage at scattered schools in Spanish Fork. After evaluating the situation, as of 11:35am, we feel that it is in the best interest of students for the school to remain open and operate on a normal schedule.
Three students from the Nebo Youth Philharmonic Orchestra including Shaylee Balls, violinist from Salem Hills High; Kyle Hutchings, bass clarinet player from Spanish Fork High; and Diana Parkin, oboe player from Payson High were selected to perform with the Utah Symphony in a special All-Star eve
Brigham Young University’s McKay Today Magazine, Spring 2012 Edition, featured Nebo School District’s East Meadows Elementary in the article titled “The average 8- to 18-year-old spends 7 hours & 38 minutes using media every day”.
Jamie Nelson, Bus Driver in the Nebo School District, was recognized at the transportation year-end banquet for her level-head and courage during a field trip taken this past month.
Salem Hills High students shined in the Fairchild Challenge held in April at Thanksgiving Point. Schools from all over Utah had the chance to participant in this creative-friendly competition. Salem Hills blasted through the competition and placed third overall, winning $250.

Chris Roberts was awarded Governor's Leadership in the Arts Awards at the Mountain West Arts Conference. Conference attendees viewed a photo collage of Chris in action at Rees Elementary, various conferences and universities throughout the state of Utah and the country.
