Wednesday, August 17, 2022, was the first day of school for Nebo School District students. Many students received the “red carpet” royal treatment on the first day.

Enjoy the photos from many of Nebo’s schools. Nebo School District is starting the year with over 35,000 students and 4,500 employees. Each year Nebo averages around 300 to 500 additional students and hires around 250 new teachers.

Nebo Students were welcomed knowing that they were missed over the summer by the huge signs welcoming them back. Still others learned of the Nebo theme, “The Summit is what drives us, but The Climb itself is what matters.”

Teachers and staff were thrilled to have the students back in the classrooms.

Superintendent Rick Nielsen said, “Students truly are the focus of all we do.”

Welcome Back Nebo students!
