Jennifer Jolley Appointed Principal of Salem Elementary

The Nebo School Board of Education appointed Jennifer Jolley as Principal of Salem Elementary for Nebo School District.

Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Utah State University and her master’s in Education and an Administrative License both at Southern Utah University. 

Mrs. Jolley served as facilitator at Brockbank Elementary for the past three years. She served as a fifth-grade teacher and first-grade teacher at East Meadows and kindergarten and second-grade teacher in Cache Valley Learning Center.

Jennifer said, “Because I love what I do, I feel like I have never worked a day in my life. The students, families, and employees I have had the privilege of associating with in Nebo School District have made my life full! I cherish the lessons I have learned from many mentors and coworkers throughout my career. I am so grateful for the opportunity to join the amazing students, families, and staff at Salem Elementary. Together, we can believe, achieve and succeed!”

A colleague said, “Jennifer can take on anything with a calm, confident, and happy demeanor. She can work with anyone and has leadership qualities such as communication, developing others, innovation, flexibility, and empathy. Jennifer supports the entire staff in realizing the mission and goals of our school.”

One of Jennifer’s favorite quotes is from Theodore Roosevelt: “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

Jennifer enjoys reading, running, traveling with family to tropical locations, horseback riding, Cowboy Mounted shooting and ranch sorting. Jennifer is married to Heath, and they have two sons and one daughter.
