Purpose of the Alternative Language Program

The purpose of the Alternative Language Program is to provide learners from linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds with an equitable and appropriate education, so they have an opportunity to develop academic, vocational, and social skills, and become successful and productive citizens in a global society.

Purpose of the Migrant Education Program

The goal of the Migrant Education Program is to ensure that all migrant students reach challenging academic standards and graduate with a high school diploma (or complete a GED) that prepares them for responsible citizenship, further learning, and productive employment.
