Nebo School District’s sixth-grade string students represented 14 elementary schools in Nebo District.
This third annual event continues to gain momentum. The first year 89 students participated; however, this year 190 students performed. The event was coordinated by district elementary music specialist, Jeri Crosby, and the district's nine, sixth-grade strings instructors.
Also featured in the concert was Springville High’s Folk Ensemble, more commonly known as "Sam's Club" directed by Sam Tsugawa.
"The concert was a thrilling experience for the students and enjoyed by a large appreciative audience of patrons, peers, parents, siblings and grandparents," said Julie Christofferson, fine arts specialist.
